1. Who we are
This Refund Policy applies to Archalign (“we”, “us”, “our”) and to services and any goods provided directly by us. It does not apply to third-party products or services purchased by you directly from third parties, even if recommended or sourced via us. For contact details, see Section 11.
2. Scope and interpretation
a) This Policy covers:
Construction and related professional services (e.g., surveys, design, project management, site works).
Any Archalign-branded goods sold directly by us.
b) This Policy does not cover:Any third-party products or services purchased by you from third parties. You receive a third-party receipt immediately and must address any returns or refunds with that third party.
c) Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory rights, including any rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (distance/off-premises sales).
3. General position on refunds
a) Services: We do not generally offer refunds once work has begun, except where there is a serious error or fault on our part.
b) Before work starts: You may request cancellation and a refund before we begin the service or before your order enters “processing” (e.g., scheduling, ordering materials, booking subcontractors). See Section 6 for deductions.
c) Archalign-branded goods: Refunds are possible only before dispatch/shipping. Once shipped or collected, refunds are not available unless required by law (e.g., goods not as described or faulty).
d) Third-party goods/services: Non-refundable through us. You must contact the third party directly.
4. Consumer cooling-off (distance/off-premises sales)
If you are a consumer and your contract was concluded at a distance or off-premises, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
a) Services: If you request that we start work during the cooling-off period, you agree to pay for work done up to cancellation. If the service is fully performed within the 14 days with your agreement, the right to cancel may not apply.
b) Goods: Cooling-off does not apply to custom-made or clearly personalised items, or to goods that are sealed for health/hygiene reasons once unsealed.
c) How to apply: To cancel within the cooling-off period (if applicable), you must clearly notify us using the method in Section 10 before the period ends.
5. When we will consider refunds for services
We may issue a refund where:We have not started the service and you cancel before “processing” starts.
We make a serious error or fault that materially affects the service delivered and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time.
We expressly agree to a goodwill refund for a specific situation.
6. Deductions, cancellation charges and partial refunds
Where a refund is permitted, deductions may apply for:Time and materials already spent on planning, design, surveys, permits, applications, site visits or procurement.
Non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your instruction.
Administrative or banking charges (we do not control third-party fees).
Any deductions will be itemised in our confirmation.
7. Non-refundable items and situationsConstruction or professional services once work has begun (unless we are at fault and cannot remedy within a reasonable time).
Custom-made, made-to-measure or clearly personalised goods, once manufacturing has started.
Permits, planning fees, specialist reports, certifications or expedited services that have been ordered on your instruction.
Third-party products or services (address directly with the third party using their receipt).
Discounted items and promotions are not returnable through us unless required by law.
Subscription services: refunds are not offered.
Suspected abuse or fraud: we may refuse or revoke refunds.
8. How to request a refund or cancellation

Include your full name, project/site address, order or invoice number, description of the issue, and any evidence (photos, reports).
9. Review and processing timesSimple banking refunds: processed instantly on our side, then subject to your bank’s timelines.
Cases requiring review: allow 14–45 working days for assessment and processing, depending on the complexity and third-party involvement.
We will email you once your refund request has been processed.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever possible. We are not responsible for your card issuer’s or bank’s processing times.
10. Cancellations before work starts or before processing
To cancel before work starts or before your order enters processing, contact us promptly using Section 8. If we confirm that no work has begun and no non-recoverable costs have been incurred, we will issue a refund in line with Sections 5–7.

12. Evidence and cooperation
We may ask for reasonable evidence (e.g., photos, reports, receipts) to understand your request. Failure to provide information that we reasonably require to assess your request may delay or prevent a refund.
13. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend work and any further deliveries until the dispute is resolved. Where a chargeback is found to be unwarranted, we may recharge the disputed amount and our reasonable costs.
14. Fair use and fraud prevention
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke refunds in cases of suspected abuse, misuse, or fraud. We may also refuse future orders where there is a pattern of abusive claims.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy frequently. The version and effective date appear at the top of this page.
